We were recently engaged by a 60M ARR Series D B2B fintech to conduct a search for a Head of Product. This role was considered critical to the reset of the business as they shifted from a sales-led to a product-led business.

Payments Professional – $215K CAD Base + 10% Bonus
- Fintech and payments subject matter expert
- 20 years of employment experience and 12 years in product management
- Experience working for startups and big tech, solving for tech debt issues and unlocking product-led growth objectives
- Leadership of large 20+ person teams
Instrumental Innovator – $200K CAD Base + 20% Bonus
- Fintech and payments subject matter expert
- 13 years of employment experience in tech and 9 years in product management
- Experience launching complex SaaS products used by large global enterprises and launching real-world AI products used in market today
- Leadership of product teams of 5-9 people
Fractional Fab – $190K USD Base + 15% Bonus + Options
- Fintech expert and previous Founder experience
- 24 years of employment experience all in product management
- Experience launching a wide variety of products (B2C, DTC and B2B) that are in market today
- Leadership of 10+ person teams
Cool Cucumber – $200K CAD Base + 20% Bonus + Options
- Background combines B2B and B2B2C product businesses
- 15 years of product management experience and 5 years of experience launching fintech products used by millions
- Experience working at the senior most product level, typically reporting to a CEO, COO or President and a champion of reimaging legacy experiences and modernizing them to enable growth
- Leadership of product teams of 5-15 people
The Hire
- Vast startup experience – participated in exits, pivots and standing up 0-1 products that achieved product market fit
- 15 years product management experience and launched AI products in real world applications that are in market today
- Strong ability to apply strategic thinking and processes to achieve ambitious outcomes while also being able to “get into the weeds” of tactical execution
- Experience working for Founders/CEOs as the most senior product leader and described by one CEO as “always the smartest person in the room”
- Leadership of product teams of 5-7 people
To attract and land this candidate, our client offered an all-in first year compensation package of $240K CAD.
